Aims and Scope
Asian Journal of Social Science Studies (AJSSS) is an international peer-reviewed and open-access journal dedicated to publishing original research that advances understanding of social phenomena, human societies, and social development. The journal welcomes qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research. Manuscripts should demonstrate clear academic contributions and relevance to social theory, empirical understanding, policy development, or social practice.
The journal focuses on theoretical, empirical, and applied research that contributes to the understanding of contemporary social challenges and the development of social knowledge. Relevant research areas include, but are not limited to:
Sociology and social development
Anthropology and cultural studies
Economics and development studies
Political science and public governance
Communication and media studies
Education and social development
Psychology and human behavior in social contexts
Law, social policy, and social institutions
Population, geography, and demographic studies
Gender, diversity, and social inclusion studies

Studies that lack a clear connection to social science research or do not provide meaningful contributions to the understanding of social phenomena are outside the scope of the journal.
