The Impacts of the Post Arab Spring on Human Rights in Syria

Abstract

Reports reveal massive violation of human rights in the Post-Arab spring unrests in Syria. The main aim of the research project was to establish the impacts that the prolonged post Arab Spring has dealt on the rights of the civilians in Syria. Using the relevant key-words the extant review identified and scoured online sites such as Ebsco Host, Google books and Google scholar in search of reports, book, journals, and articles published in the Arab Spring.

The review approach will be lingered on the issues that pertain to the inhuman treatment of the local Syrian population in the face of the civil war between 2011 to the present. The methodology employed enabled the use of secondary sources to provide data for the research. The investigation revealed a widespread violation of human rights on the Syria society. The social life, economic, political sectors have deteriorated and there exists a dire need for help for the local population.
